PREGNANCY IS TEMPORARY, POSTPARTUM IS FOREVER
I want to live in a culture that acknowledges that our postpartum state is forever. Not something that ends when we stop bleeding and are cleared by our doctors to resume "normal exercise." Not something
that ends when we are no longer nursing or our baby is sleeping through the night or when the children go off to school. We deserve centered care, support and education to live better as embodied parents so we can be awesome and resourced for the little ones we birthed.

My body has carried and birthed 2 healthy babies. My first child was born privately at home in the care of midwives in 2016. My second child was born in 2020, roughly 4 weeks after I fell ill with the Coronavirus, in a hospital triage waiting room, in the care of people I had never met, who were covered in PPE.  My pregnancies and births could not have been more different and as I head into my third year postpartum I still have recovery work to do.
What I have learned over the last 7 years is that having children really does change everything.  As my babies learn and grow, I must relearn what I thought I knew and grow into new and better habits that support my needs and who I have become as a caregiver. When I cling to who I was, what my body used to be able to do or how it looked, it leads to suffering or injury. Becoming a parent has also put me in deeper touch with the inevitability of aging and my own mortality.
As a movement specialist with two decades of experience I am whole-heartedly committed to finding ways to heal my own body and parenting life and help others do the same. I want to age well and gracefully for my children, so I can meet their vitality and give them a model for healthy self-care.
I have worked with clients at many stages of postpartum recovery from months to years out. I have experience teaching micro-movements that train internal structures like the pelvic floor back into strength, and teaching macro-movements that work over-tired-baby-carrying-shoulders back into ease and healthy posture.  I worked with an octogenarian whose back problems and core disconnection were clearly resultant from carrying and birthing 3 children more that 50 years prior. That experience led me to truly understand how bodies who have babies often get left behind and never heal or process their births. I want to change our culture around this neglect and help recenter care, one postpartum body at a time.

This program is for you if:
• You have given birth at ANY TIME in your life and want support for your body’s changing needs, whether you are 6 weeks or 20 years out. YES postpartum is forever and there are ways you can repair even many years away from baby delivery!
• You had ANY kind of birth and are medically cleared and ready to resume a gentle movement practice
• You no longer want to feel alone in your struggles
• Want to build an at-home care routine that addresses your specific postpartum needs
• Connect with the experiences of others and build support
