I have studied and shared my passion for the creative arts, movement, food and wellness for over 20 years. I have worked in movement studios, for arts non-profits, and for Tomatero organic farm operating farm stands at local and regional farmer’s markets. I have grown my teaching over the years to include group and one-on-one work through yoga, Pilates mat and machine, and nutritional health coaching. I have co-created material for and taught in yoga teacher trainings and wellness group programs. I carry a wealth of hands-on experience through my many years as a mover and healer helping students and clients reach their goals.
My health journey over the last few years has been humbling as I have met a variety of unfolding challenges: Covid and the pandemic, chronic postpartum woes including DR and PF dysfunction, aging and perimenopause, and a bike accident that led to invasive plate-and-screw surgery to my right elbow. The stress and strain and uneven recovery from all of these things has left me with, among other things, a softer and more accepting heart. What I have lost in bodily strength and function, I have gained in compassion, perspective and the ability to truly teach to all levels.
When not teaching or studying I care for my two spirited kids, attempt to find time and counter space to cook nutritious meals, and hang out with my husband and our rescue pitbull. In summer of 2022 I returned to my native Seattle and the Pacific Northwest after 15 years in the Bay Area.
